After 12 days of coloring for 30-45 minutes each day, I finished the “Self-Fulfilling Prophecy” mandala. Today’s addition to the mandala is very subtle and can best be viewed up close. I added the words that make up the message of this mandala. I wrote them on the pipes.
Imagine
Believe
Allow

When we have a thought (imagine), believe it to be true , and then allow ourselves to experience it, we create a self-fulfilling prophecy. This can work for and against us depending our perspective.
If we have the thought that we are going to fail at something and then believe it without doing anything to change that thought or belief (thus allowing it to happen), it will happen. The same can hold true to positive outcomes and beliefs.
So what’s it going to be?
Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right. – Henry Ford
My Mission: connecting with our Inner Light in delightful, inspiring ways
For me, creating mandalas is more than just coloring pretty patterns in a circle. I do it because my spiritual evolution and creativity require it of me. My mandala designs come about within an active meditative state, connected with my higher self, my spiritual guides and nature spirits.
Together, we bring into form, mandala art the allows me to re-connect with my own inner peace and joy, letting me explore and expand my own creative spirit to however far and in whatever direction I want to take it.
As part of my own spiritual journey, I encourage, and hopefully inspire, others to explore their own creativity, to help them re-connect with their own inner peace and joy. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?

Ah, yes, the brain can either work with or against an idea. Thinking positively is the way to go. Wish I could keep my brain daily on that path!
Congrats on working through this one!
