During my day 3 coloring of section 1 of the 2012 Mandala of the Year, I forgot to bring my camera with me so the slideshow skips over the progress for day 3 and only shows the end of day 3 & a close up.

In continuing to color Section 1 of the 2012 Mandala of the Year today, I decided to monitor my body.

I spent today coloring all the little orbs that seem to float above the whole section.

Today I filled in the bar separating the upper and lower portions; as well as the triangular shapes that are attached to the orbs in the upper portion.

For the seventh stripe, I drew partial spirals; giving each spiral its own color.

Today I spent some time coloring the 6th stripe from the left adding horizontal stripes and coloring them with alternating primary colors.

Today I proceeded onward with the 5th stripe (from the left). Here I created mound like sections within the stripe.

Today I worked on the 4th stripe from the left. Here I wanted to make little overlapping tiles…it almost looks like an image of data processing.
